一个手捧黑猫的黑衣美妇人出现在面前，优雅高贵却又神秘莫测——这里说的是雪儿专辑《黑夫人》的封面照。
这张专辑首发于1974年，而当中的同名主打歌《Dark Lady》讲述了一场暗黑系情杀事件——
歌曲中主人公是一个女人，她前去找黑夫人用纸牌算命，后者力劝她与男友分手，主人公一开始半信半疑，待到夜半时分回家后才猛然醒悟，之前嗅到的黑夫人身上的香水味，不正是在自家床上残留的陌生香水味吗——黑夫人正是导致其男友出轨的那个女人。
于是她抓起一把手枪潜回黑夫人公寓，果不其然，男友正与黑夫人调笑热吻呢，枪声乍响，一对男女顿时毙命，黑夫人再也没法翻牌了……

I couldn't sleep because of all the things she said
Then I remembered her strange perfume
And how I smelled it was in my own room
So I sneaked back and caught her with my man
Laughing and kissing till they saw the gun in my hand
The next thing I knew they were dead on the floor
Dark Lady would never turn a card up anymore
